Instagram– Instagram allows the user to post pictures as a way of communication. Instagram is perfect for companies that have new things to share daily without bombarding their audiences. When sent to other users, the pictures or videos delete themselves immediately after being viewed, however when posted to a story, they will remain for 24 hours, for all to view if they so choose. Snapchat stories are the ideal platform for multiple small announcements or new products coming into the store. Snapchat also allows you to use different geo-filters, which are available depending on the poster’s location.
YouTube– YouTube is the ideal platform for anyone choosing to market through videos. Once you create an account, you can also create a channel, or multiple channels as a way to organize the different types of videos the company posts. The videos can range from a commercial to a vlog (video blog) to an event showcase. Posts on YouTube range anywhere from daily to monthly, depending on the audience, type and amount of content.
